Well if you think there is a downside of upgrading to SSD, then you are wrong. Upgrading to SSD is very good idea because there is no backdrops in it. In fact, I regretted myself for not upgrading to SSD long before.
SSD is a lot faster then the HDD , because of that your PC will have a very fast response, very Fast booting, loading applications faster and less Battery consumption. To easily understand this compare your Phone with your laptop where your phone will have a great response with opening application, touch response and etc. Whereas your PC will have a poor response compared to your phone. This is because your phone uses Solid State Drive(SSD).
What about my data in my old HDD?
Don't worry still you can have your same settings and application you had on the HDD.By easily migrate your Operating system to the new SSD using applications like easeUS , Paragon and etc. And then just change boot priority to the SSD in boot menu.
What my thought after upgrading to SSD?
After, I upgrade to SSD, my PC using experience is totally changed, I can see the Boot speed, fast application install, Applications and Games loading faster and etc.
What about the cost?
Is SSD is same cost as HDD?. No, SSD is expensive then the HDD. But you can buy lesser size(120 GB,240 GB) and you can use for only your OS, Games and Application). And use your old HDD to store your files like images, videos and etc.
